NORTH CAROLINA BEACH, INLET & WATERWAY ASSOCIATION
Federal and State rules and policies must be monitored continuously and modified as necessary to promote the health and prosperity of North Carolina’s coastal region including our inlets, beaches, and waterways. Federal and State policy periodically needs adjustment to assist communities with environmentally and economically sound local management decisions.
NCBIWA is organized to seek out and encourage positive steps to reduce duplication of efforts while strengthening the influence of our members and coastal constituents. Our challenge to represent the entire coast has expanded to cover all coastal sand management issues. Our standing as a resource for decision makers has been elevated, and our mission to speak as the One Effective Voice for NC Coastal Issues has grown into a unified power that cannot and will not be ignored.
